To encourage songwriters for writing more original songs, the Organizers will present 6 awards during the finale concert: Best Song Award, Popularity Award (Public Voting), Lyrics (Merit) Award, Melody (Merit) Award, Best Vocal Performance Award & Best Band Performance. Winning awards are not listed in any particular order. This year, the Top 12 performances will be judged by distinguished musicians and composers including Liang Wern Fook梁文福, Lee Si Song李偲菘, Zennon Goh吴剑泓, Lou Nan Wei楼南蔚 and Derrick Hoh何维健.

Other than the Top 12 songs being performed at the concert, Singaporean Jazz singer and Musical Theatre actress, Joanna董姿彦and Singaporean Vocal band, MICappella麦克疯will also be performing as special guest performers.

The event will be graced by Ms Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.
